Tonsillitis

Just experimenting with adhesive tape design.
hahas, it's kinda fun branding a virus infection.

I don't know about other company(military unit), but this Tonsillitis thing has been spreading
all over mine.

3 obvious symptoms i've personally observed are
- cough (dry ones)
-Sore throat
-Fever, chills

For me, its a pain in the ass (literally), i hate it, and its not going away. *bloody hell*

Is this the legendary "tekong cough" every recruit that came in had been complaining for years?

Down by the MO, took a little walk.

The MO is actualy refering to the Medical Officer every recruit loves to visit once in awhile to avoid and run away from training. They'll issue Yellow arm bands to notify other higher ranking people that this recruit has a medical status.
No sergeants would forced you to do training nor punnishment :)

This 2 month of BMT(military training), i had fever once, cough almost everyday , fell and bleed once(today) and never once visited the MO. See how much perseverance i've got! :p

The Army is slowly killing parts of me.

Bookout.

Ha! Even before i enter Tekong(camp), I’m already thinking getting out(bookout).
I dread this day to come, and counting down makes it worst. Damn.

So, as mentioned in my previous many post, I'm entering the army.
And hey, i just realised I’ve got 2 more days being a civilian!(including today)
I know it's not like the end of the world, but every meals seems like the "last supper" to me man. It sucks.

Alright, thats about it, gona pack some "civilian cloths" into my bag and prepare to "serve the nation". whatever man.

"Hi, i'm selling my house!".

Housing in Singapore is getting more and more insanely expensive,
Prices are sky high. wooh!

It's nearly impossible for most of the younger generation like myself to own a house in future.

Lets migrate!

Maybe I'm a little bit slow, but just yesterday, i found out about dribbble.com.
After getting invited, I've post my first "Shot".

"What are shots?
Shots are small screenshots posted by members to show what they are working on. Some have called Dribbble "Twitter for creatives." Shots are to Dribbble as tweets are to Twitter. "

Just a little fun over the weekend.
First time experimenting on logo making like this, so hope it's not too bad.

A quote from the recent movie "Friends with Benefits";
"i know i'm new at this, but what i lack in experience, i make up for in cliche"
Here i am trying to create a classic look of a cliche logo :)

Sungei Road - Thieves' Market.

Who's still digging oldest flea market in Singapore?

Since the 1930s, the road has been synonymous with the Thieves' Market, where the locals can hunt for all sorts of second-hand merchandise as well as contraband goods.

My personal retro hunting ground! :)

A Tiny Island In Singapore Called "Kusu".

So together with a group of friends we found ourselves in this nearly empty island.
Excluding the 6 of us, i estimate around other 8 pairs of human feet set on the island.
It felt like we owned the entire island! And hired 4 bangalas workers to maintain the place, 1 coast guard, and 3 terrorist trying to invade our land.

I try to include more "alive" subject in this post, after realising most of the photographs in my blog are just things. dead, motionless things.

And in this post, i told myself to keep to 1 editing style, which i failed again. Gosh, so hard to maintain consistency.

Wetland.

So I've visited Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve a few days back, and realised how awesome nature is.

28 mosquito bites... ... ...

No seriously, living in a busy city like Singapore, we've forgotten what "fresh air" smells like.

Keep Calm and Blame On

What?! You’ve not heard of the ‘Keep Calm' craze yet!?

Recently the old 1939 poster produced by the British government have come alive, people have been re-producing these posters and used it as a decorative theme for whatsoever. People have been using the print on book covers to take pictures as accessories, hanging them in their restaurant as display theme and stuff like that.

“The poster was initially produced by the Ministry of Information [2] in 1939 during the beginning of World War II. It was intended to be distributed in order to strengthen morale in the event of a wartime disaster. Two-and-a-half million copies were printed, although the poster was distributed only in limited numbers.[3] The designer of the poster is not known.” –wiki

So I bored and made my own version of “keep calm” poster!

Basically retaining the style of the ordinal poster from 1936, and adding he modern element like a twisted version of Facebook “like” button. I called it the “blame” button.

And no, it’s not my fault. Mostly it’s the government fault.
Keep_Calm_and_Blame_On_Poster[2]

Oh, the original looks something like that .
Open your eye, mashups are everywhere.
Keep calm and stay awesome people!
